Fast PhD Online

by Donna Applegate

Want to earn a fast PhD online? Well, slow down.

A doctorate degree is the highest academic degree one can earn and respected online schools do not award them lightly.

To earn a doctoral degree, students must complete a rigorous course of study, undertake original research and write a thesis that is often the length of a book.

So earning a fast PhD online — at least from an accredited, respected school — isn’t possible. In fact, it takes an average of five years to earn a PhD. Beware of handing your money over to a “diploma mill,“ organizations that bill themselves as universities or colleges and promise a fast PhD online, but whose diplomas are really worth little in the marketplace.

But is it worth the time to earn a PhD?

You be the judge: The U.S. Census Bureau says professionals with doctorates earn $37,265 more a year than a professional with a bachelors degree.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t get to work while earning your doctorate degree. Many online programs require a year of residency or field work in your chosen field.
Among the most popular doctorates available online:
–Psychology
-Education
–Engineering
–Public health
–Business

While earning a fast PhD online can be too good to be true, those students who are serious about earning a top academic degree can find quality online programs respected in the world of academia.
