College Credit for Work ExperienceOver the past couple of years, I’ve compared hundreds of colleges and universities searching for schools that offer students College Credit for Work Experience.

My research uncovered a surprising number of methods you can use to speed your way through a degree by earning College Credit for Work Experience:

  • Demonstrate work experience through a “portfolio” describing your work experiences
  • Earn credit for professional licenses or certificates
  • Earn credit for work experience and training classes
  • Earn credit for military service
  • Test out of up to 30 credit hours (1 year of college) with a single exam
  • Credit by Examination (CLEP, DANTES/DSST, TECEP, GRE, etc.)
  • Accelerated online courses
  • Transfer credit earned from other colleges and schools

Keep in mind, not all accredited universities offer these alternative methods of earning college credit , but there are several that do!
